AWS Application Load Balancer + Route 53 + GoDaddy Domain + SSL with Amazon Certificate Manager

In this video, I walk you through a 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝-𝐭𝐨-𝐞𝐧𝐝 setup to deploy your application using 𝐀𝐖𝐒 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 (𝐀𝐋𝐁) with a 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 purchased from 𝐆𝐨𝐃𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲, connected through 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞𝟓𝟑, and 𝐇𝐓𝐓𝐏𝐒 𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 (𝐀𝐂𝐌).

🛠️ 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐝:
- VPC, Subnet, Internet gateway, Route table
- Amazon EC2
- Application Load Balancer (ALB)
- Route53
- GoDaddy
- AWS Certificate Manager (ACM)
- Security Groups & Listener Rules

🔧 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨:
- Create and configure AWS ALB (Application Load Balancer)
- Setup Route 53 hosted zone and connect it with a GoDaddy domain
- Update Route 53 name servers in GoDaddy DNS settings
- Request and validate SSL certificates using AWS Certificate Manager (ACM)
- Update Load Balancer listeners and rules to redirect HTTP to HTTPS
- Modify security groups for secure access
- Final testing of HTTPS connection via the custom domain
