I was expecting all coins detecting the pond today but actually found a couple old relics

People have been coming to this old pond for hundreds of years which makes it a great place to do some metal detecting. I planned it as a loop down path the waters edge and then over the rock wall and across the old deserted farm. To my surprise the beach section was rather quiet with a few coins found and not even that much trash. So I headed into the tree line where the old farm that has been abandoned the last 100 years is. Today was just a relaxing , easy, take it slow kind of fun metal detecting today with the Fisher F19 and I ended up digging a couple of old relics. Most likely 1800s but I was happy about that. Point of the day is to just enjoy metal detecting and have fun because you will find something good eventually.
