Squint is a condition wherein there is no coordination in the movements of our eyes. This occurs when there is an imbalance between the muscles of the eyes. The power in both the eyes vary with one being weaker than the other.

Types of Squint

Esotropia- When one of the eye is inclined inwards
Exotropia- when one of the eye is inclined outwards

Treatment of Squint

Surgical Treatment:
First, eye power is determined and analyzed to rule out any complications. Depending on the type and degree, further procedure is carried out. Through surgery, the imbalance between muscles is treated by bringing both to a similar level of eye power. This is known as Muscle Resection Procedure.
