A Word With Adam - South Australian Environmental Organisation, Adopt a Spot Scheme

On this episode of A Word With Adam, we sit down with Carlee and Chris, the two founders of Adopt A Spot Scheme, a local environmental organisation.
We find out about the issues South Australia has with discarded cigarette butts, how recycling isn't the answer and the importance of a circular economy in protecting our environment. We also hear a few tips on how every individual can make a difference.
This organisation is doing fantastic things to clean up our coastlands and inlands, with over 100 adopted spots across the state and nearly 5,000KG of rubbish cleaned in 2020! We applaud Carlee, Chris and all the adopters in their dedication to making a difference- we know we learned something while making this episode!
