Love and Laughter with Gracie The Blue Jay and Family

Hi everyone, Gracie was rescued in the spring of 2015, when he was no more than a few days. Released to the wild approximately 4 weeks later (after several attempts), Gracie returned. While remaining a wild Blue Jay, Gracie brought great joy to my family each day. Soon after, Dina (My wife and Gracie's actual rescue mommy) was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, and it was devastating to us all. We rallied in her support, and so did Gracie! As if Gracie knew what was going on, his visits became much longer and he spent much of that time next to Dina's side. Today, more than 4 years after Gracie's rescue, he has had 8 broods of babies (10, as of summer 2020) and we have been by his side every step of the way. Dina is now two years cancer free, and we are forever grateful. Our entire life with Gracie is documented by me through video, many of which I will share here and on our facebook and instagram pages.
