Pretreating shirts for DTG - Best Practice

Are you looking to pretreat shirts without ridges of pretreatment, or avoid stains, or it feels like its bullet proof? Scott Hopper, DTG Consultant has come up with a fantastic way to dial in your pretreatment for the best possible print and feel. Not every fabric or garment is made from the same materials, or same process, so you shouldn't pretreat all of your shirts the same way. Some of the more difficult colors or fabrics need to be finessed some one it comes to pretreatment. If you follow these steps you will achieve the best results for your customer and maximize your profit margin. Don't waste ink, shirts, or pretreatment trying to guess what setting you need to run your pretreatment shirt for your Epson F2100, Epson F3070, Brother GTX, FreeJet, AnaJet, or any other Direct-to-garment printer. Do a little testing to get your settings for each garment dialed in and provide your customers with the best looking and feeling prints.
