Soviet Space Shuttle Buran Launch [Close up Cameras w Sound 1988] 🚀

On November 15, 1988, Buran (also known as "Snowstorm"), the first fully reusable Russian space shuttle, was launched by the Soviet Union. The first and only orbital flight of Buran was performed without a crew, despite the fact that it underwent lengthy testing in the atmosphere with skilled pilots.
Due to financial constraints and the political environment in the Soviet Union, the project was put on hold following the first Buran shuttle flight. The two succeeding orbiters—Orbiter 1.02, which was expected in 1990, and Orbiter 2.01, which was due in 1992—were never finished.
