**UPDATE :
The last step on crackling the skin on top heat 200 Celcius, you do not need to open and wipe every 4 minutes, depending the oven it can be only every 7-10 minutes.

If the skin get burnt easily means you need to open and let the smoke out more.

Crispy crackling Skin roast pork recipe that will stay crispy for hours.

Easy to follow to make crispy skin roast port with step by step instructions

For this 1 kg / 2 lbs of Roast pork belly cooking time will take about 2 hours for the skin to crackled and crisp up pork crackling completely

Ingredients:
1 kg/2.2 lbs pork belly with skin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoons ginger powder
1/2 teaspoon five spice powder
1 teaspoon white fine salt for meat
1 tablespoon white fine salt for rind

The rind has to be dry before you start the crackling pork rind steps. Once drying of the pork rind steps done in the oven, you will then can continue to process of CRACKLING PORK RIND.

If you had tried with other method of roasting pork belly and you find pork crackling didn’t work it could be either the rind/skin doesn’t dry completely or rind/skin doesn’t puff up completely .
