কথিত আছে, আইফেল টাওয়ার নির্মাণে ১৮,০৩৮ টি ধাতব খন্ডকে একত্রে সংযুক্ত করণের জন্য ছোট-বড় মিলিয়ে মোট ২ কোটি ৫০ লক্ষ নাট ব্যবহৃত হয়েছিল। আর এই কাজে নিয়োগ দেয়া হয়েছিল ৩০০ জন দক্ষ কর্মীকে। বিশাল আকৃতির এই টাওয়ারটি সম্পূর্ণ নির্মাণ করতে মোট সময় লেগেছিল ২ বছর ২ মাস ৫ দিন। অনেকেই বলে থাকেন আইফেল টাওয়ারের মোট উচ্চতা ৩২৪ মিটার। এখানে একটি বিষয় পরিষ্কার হওয়া প্রয়োজন , আসলে মূল আইফেল টাওয়ারটির উচ্চতা ৩০০ মিটার আর বাকি চার মিটার হচ্ছে আইফেল টাওয়ারের উপর নির্মিত এন্টেনার উচ্চতা।

আইফেল টাওয়ার নির্মাণে ব্যবহৃত ধাতব কাঠামো সমূহের ওজন ৭,৩০০ টন , আর অন্যান্য সব মিলিয়ে টাওয়ারটির মোট ওজন ১০,১০০ টন। প্রতি ৭ বছর পর পর এই টাওয়ারটিকে একবার করে রং করা হয়। সম্পূর্ণ এই টাওয়ারটি রং করতে প্রতিবার ৬০ টন রঙের প্রয়োজন হয়।
