Thematic Framing in Songs for the Deaf (QOTSA)
Most don't look to Queens of the Stone Age for concept albums, but their 2002 record Songs for the Deaf is one of the greatest ever made.
This video analyzes the use of radio as a framing device in the record to communicate its story without sacrificing the punch of individual tracks and singles.
