Caught on camera: Burglar breaks into house using ladder - Daily Mail

A burglar has been caught red-handed as he uses a ladder to reach the top floor window of a house owned by a CCTV engineer. The home surveillance footage shows 43-year-old Darren Gaylor stalk the outside of the home in Plymouth in broad daylight before using a ladder to stealthily make his way up to the open upstairs window before climbing inside. Gaylor, who has a history of heroin abuse, was on a suspended sentence at the time for nine other burglaries and reportedly re-lapsed around the time of the robbery after running into a dealer.He was jailed for three and a half years at Plymouth Crown Court yesterday for the daylight burglary and two additional break-ins in the area between last April and January.
