LGBTQ+ Tik Toks for when you’re here and queer

Hey all!! Sorry for the delay on the video, it’s been over two months since I last posted! I’ll be trying to get back into posting more often and putting out this video should be a start!

I hope you all have been doing well and I hope that the new year has been treating you well! I came out to the rest of my close family a few weeks ago and it’s so relieving to not have to keep that from them anymore! They’re still adjusting and still messing up with my name and pronouns, but that’s okay, I know they won’t get it immediately and they’re trying and that’s what matters. Except my brother, he isn’t really trying at all but I kind of expected that. In general though, I’m feeling a lot better than when I was closeted, it’s nice not to have to hide a part of me. Now the next thing to do will be coming out at school, I’m still only out to about five people there so I’ve got a long way to go still, but I’ve taken a big step and although there are more to come it helps to have taken the first one.

One thing I’ve been having a lot of fun with recently is listening to records. I got a record player at Christmas and I have a Mother Mother vinyl coming (it’s Touch Up, my favorite album of theirs is O My Heart but it hasn’t been in stock in their store yet and there are still loads of songs on touch up which I enjoy), I’ll also have the new dodie album arriving on vinyl in late March!! There’s a certain kind of vibe to listening to music on vinyl that I really enjoy and I can’t wait to get more of them!

And finally; question of the day. Since I’ve been gone so long and haven’t had much time to interact with you all, how are you doing? I’d love to hear and I’ll be responding as much as I can, though I have been a bit busier lately so I don’t know how much I’ll be able to.

Remember to try to eat and stay hydrated. Remember to follow precautions and bind safely if you are binding. These include not wearing a binder for over 8 hours, stretching, taking breaks, and just breathing. And if you are tucking please follow precautions so you can do it safely. Just like binding, you shouldn’t tuck for over 8 hours. If you can take breaks, then it is advised. With both binding and tucking please read up on advises precautions for safety and possible risks. And remember that no matter what you are going though now, no matter how hard it will seem- it always gets better. I know this is something you’ve probably heard a lot but you only hear it because it’s true. It could get harder before it gets better but it does get better. Lastly, remember that you are loved and valid! I love you all! Stay safe!!! ❤️❤️❤️
