Construction costs = $40K per contract
Blueprints, plan checks, build permits = ~$7K
Appliances and miscellaneous decor = ~$3K
Total = ~$50K

ADU Garage Conversion in Los Angeles. Termites could be an issue when you are converting an existing structure into an ADU. Mine had termites mostly on the exterior wall facing the street.
