The Environmental Protection You Don't Know in Shanghai

This film is a joint production by the students from Beijing University and Bournemouth University (UK).
This film looks at Shanghai’s progress in environmental protection from multiple perspectives. The main thread follows the city’s 2019 launch of a brand-new garbage classification scheme as experienced by people from different walks of life. The film also shows how recycled waste is being turned into new fashion and the growing popularity of new energy vehicles, tracing the rise of environmental consciousness and green action among the residents of Shanghai.
