Fed’s Bullard: Asset Purchases Don’t Have Much Value Now
Aug.27 -- Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President James Bullard repeated his call for the central bank to taper its asset purchases in an interview with Bloomberg's Mike McKee on Friday. "I think the purchases don't have much value right now," Bullard said. "Let's phase out the purchases and let's give ourselves some breathing room in 2022."
