The BT started off life as a midi file. I stripped it right back and modified the drums and
changed some instruments. I also cut out the rhythm guitar and played that in myself and added thunder and rain with Mixcraft effects. All edited and recorded with Mixcraft. Marquee used for Lead and Rhythm parts with Quad GT eftp complex patch.
Some beleive this song is about the Vietnam war, (bombs raining down on a dusty road), but "Who'll stop The Rain" is about Vietnam. When John Foggerty himself introduced the song on stage at a concert, he said it was about the imminent departure of his brother Tom from CCR at the hight of their success.
