72-Hour Emergency Kit (food) | with Vegan and Nut-Free ideas

In this video, I show an update of our 72-Hour Emergency Food Kit. I had set this up a few years ago. We go through this food every September and March. September is National Disaster Preparedness Month, and March is Spring Cleaning. So it is a natural time in the calendar to go through these preps. If they are expiring, then I put them in the regular food rotation in my kitchen pantry. We practiced these preps by eating only from this bin for 3 days or 72 hours. I learned a few things. 1. My hubby got tired really fast with the food in there and wanted more nutritious things. 2. The kids love Oreos! Since my family has food allergies and is plant-based, I had to keep those food preferences in mind. Write out your menu per family member. From there, you can determine what to put in your 72-Hour Emergency Food Kit.
