A Child - Original Christian Song - Mike Henry - 2019

A friend that I once partied with knew that I was going through some experiences with God. He and I were usually up to no good, so I was surprised that one night we were hanging out and we got into a discussion of God. He started it. He shared that he didn't believe that God was real. At some point during our long conversation, I asked him, "What would God have to do or show you for you to believe?" He was taken back by the question and thought about it for a while. I was floored by his answer. He said: "I just want to be loved." I wrote the song, "A Child" as a result of that conversation. I've recorded 5 Christian CD's and never released it. My wife really likes it, but she's biased. She loves me. I think God will be pleased that I released it, cause He loves me too. Thank God, that God doesn't have taste (he loves me?).
