Punta Tombo and Península Valdés, Patagonia

We explore the wildlife reserves of Punta Tombo and Península Valdés in northern Patagonia, Argentina with Nievemar Tours. We visit the largest Magellanic penguin rookery in the world on Punta Tombo and watch guanacos and choiques (lesser rheas) close up. On Península Valdés, we observe orcas hunting sea lions in Punta Norte, enjoy the vocal sea lion colonies, and discover armadillos and maras along the way.
