Expedition Red Center - Exploring central Australia the hard way.

Short documentary showing the solo expedition which had as a goal to reach extremely remote and isolated geographical centre of Simpson Desert in Australian red centre, during the astronomical summer (that is, before 21st of March). To my knowledge this has not been done ever before. It takes you along the unbelievably beautiful, but harsh and isolated country (at one stage I have not seen another human being for 9 days) of central Australia, along with the hardships and troubles that occurred during the way. Visiting old overland telegraph ruins of Strangaway springs and Old Peake, old Andando station, the hot springs of Dalhousie, the Geosurveys Hill, the Big Red, Birdsville, Coopers Creek and Northern Flinders. Unbelievable adventure, only possible in Australia.
