I have also shared a method in which i have shown you the best method to find Upwork Jobs that are very rare and you are most likely to get them easily by applying with my proposal sample.

Let me explain you the 5 steps in detail.

1- When you are new on Upwork, I suggest you to check other freelancers profiles. See what exactly they are doing to attract clients on Upwork. Focus on their Profile Description. Because Upwork Profile Description is the most important part where clients decide whether to hire the person or not. After that try to make or optimize your profile with my techniques provided in the tutorial.

2- Don't Over Rate your profile. Sadly it is the truth that you have to lower your hourly rate on upwork. Because in start no one is going to hire a newbie with no feedback. Try to lower the rate and when you get enough jobs and successfully complete them, then i suggest you to high the hourly rate of your upwork profile.

3- Apply with small cover letter. Clients on Upwork don't have that much time that they read long proposals. They only read small proposals. Try to add the Upwork job title in first two lines of your job proposal. And in the end you should write "Lets Discuss this project in detail. Kindly start the interview on upwork so we can discuss more"

4- Improve your communication skills. If you are living in Non English speaking country then you might face problems in communicating with clients on upwork. But you can improve your communication skills by just talking and discussing projects with clients. I highly suggest you to read articles related to freelancing, so you can understand the terms use in freelancing.
