POLAR CHILL AIR COOLER - BETTER THAN THE ARCTIC AIR ?

I test out the Polar Chill Air Cooler to find if it's a better alternative to the Arctic Air Pure Chill personal cooler I previously tested. Unfortunately it seems many people buy these air coolers expecting them to be an air conditioner replacement or air conditioner alternative. These evaporative coolers ( also known as swamp coolers ) are way too small to cool off an entire room or even part of a room. They are designed to be a personal cooler meaning they should be placed where they can blow directly on someone like a traditional fan. They have the added benefit of using cold water and the ability of freezing the filter to gain some additional cooling and the "feeling" of cool air. If you live in an area with higher humidity any evaporative cooler won't work as well as in drier climates.
