russia targets 1000-year old church

Last night, russia targeted one of Ukraine's most important spiritual and historical landmarks — the 1,000-year-old Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.

The attack is a stark reminder of the contradiction at the heart of the Kremlin's rhetoric. While claiming to defend "traditional Christian values," russia continues to launch missiles and drones at churches, residential neighborhoods, and civilian infrastructure across Ukraine.

In this video, I discuss what this attack tells us about russia's true intentions and why its actions continue to speak louder than its propaganda.

I also look at how a potential agreement with Iran could shift President Trump's attention back to Ukraine and renewed efforts to secure a peace deal. As developments in the Middle East evolve, the question of how to end russia's war against Ukraine may once again return to the center of international discussions.

And finally, I share a personal glimpse of what these attacks mean for ordinary Ukrainians. During last night's strike on Kyiv, debris shattered my kitchen window. It is a small loss compared to what many Ukrainian families endure every day, but it is another reminder that for us, this war is not a headline. It is our daily reality.
