i had a book slump since college and one of my close friends told me about bridgerton and how there's a Netflix adaptation in the works. im a big fan of historical drama and it's Christmas so i gave it a go on Netflix and i just fell in love with the story. i started reading the series after binge-watching the show and these two just captured my heart, the banter, and the witty conversation is just perfect. i made a video before season 2 even started, basically it tells about the premise of the book, how Anthony would choose a bride, he chose Edwina but because Edwina won't marry without the approval of her sister, Anthony started wooing Kate for him to ask Edwina's hand, however he started having feelings with Kate. But he's afraid of love, so he told Kate about eliminating love in any romantic relationships, so that's why Kate is sad. lily james in pride and prejudice and zombies is the perfect fancast of kate because of the scenes that matched the books, especially the sister relationship of edwina and kate, also the movie is set in the regency era which is perfect. there's a scene in the garden however i cannot find any scene that showed their compromised situation that pushed them to marry each other, so i just skip it to the impromptu proposal of Anthony to protect kate's reputation. anyways, i hope the video tells the story, it's kinda messy (not my best work) and i want to finish this before the year ends.
