Fix Weak Hip Drive: Prevent Knee & Hip Pain! #shorts

🏃♂️ Weak hip drive isn't just a performance problem...it can become an injury problem too.

When runners lack stability and control around the hip, several things can happen:

❌ Pelvic drop

❌ Excessive side-to-side movement

❌ Knee collapse inward

❌ Increased stress on the knee, IT band, and hip

The problem isn't just that these movement patterns look inefficient.

The bigger issue is that your body struggles to absorb force properly.

And if you can't absorb force efficiently, you won't be able to generate force efficiently.

Think of it this way:

👉 Stability comes first.

👉 Force production comes second.

👉 Performance improves as a result.

This is why we spend so much time helping runners develop strength and control before progressing into explosive exercises, speed work, and power training.

Once your hips can control movement effectively, you're able to produce more force in less time, leading to:

✅ Better running efficiency

✅ Improved power output

✅ Faster running

✅ Reduced injury risk

That's exactly why the High Box Step-Up with Knee Drive we posted earlier today can be such a valuable exercise for runners.

Have you ever been told you have weak hips or poor hip stability?
