Takuya Yagyuu first gained attention with Memesis, a series that was eventually canceled from Weekly Shonen Jump after 45 chapters.

While the story struggled to find an audience, one thing stood out immediately:

After that, Takuya decided to leave the shonen genre entirely and moved into adult manga, where he found huge success thanks to his artwork.

He also regularly uploaded illustrations to Pixiv, which is basically the Japanese artist equivalent of Instagram.

But then something hilarious happened 😭

His Pixiv account was recently suspended because the site's AI moderation system reportedly mistook his drawings for actual photographs.
