When we celebrate Eucharist, we receive the Bread of Life, who is the risen Lord, into us.

Jesus says, I am the true bread, I am the Bread of life, he who comes to me, etc. Yeah. And so we also, when we go to Mass, when we celebrate Eucharist, when we share Communion, we also receive the Bread of Life into us.

Bread of Life becomes part of us. And we identify with Bread of Life, who is the risen Lord. It's not just bread. It is more than bread. yet the risen Lord becomes that bread. So that the resurrection is not just up there, it's down here, too.

And you and I are invited to share in that, to be part of it. And then in the Gospels of this week, you know, we have, Jesus is the true bread come down from heaven for the life of the world. Okay. We're invited through baptism, we're invited through the Eucharist to participate in that risen life which is lived and shared here below.
