The oldest tourist destination in the Canary Islands
Located in the north of the island of Tenerife, Puerto de la Cruz was one of the first places in the world to attract the burgeoning international tourist trade of the late 18th Century. The former port of La Orotava, it is home to historical sites such as the old customs house (now an art museum) and the area around the plaza del Charco.
