"Ok, I have three more shots to hit the target..part one was on what we would call proper dispositions for Prayer, that's not a hard thing that's an easy thing, easy prayer, simple things like Humility. Listen this is a very important thing, don't miss this, don't let this go over your head.
All fruit in the apostolic vineyard is born of union with God. To the degree you are united with God you will be effective. For every hour that I spend preaching I spend thousands of hours alone with God. If you're not alone with God in silence you will ultimately have nothing to say. Every notable preacher or missionary in the history of the Church was a person of deep prayer..no power otherwise..you can be active, active, active and nothing will happen. Simple is best, pray the Rosary, I've been preaching this since day one..this is easy prayer for hard time..pray the Rosary it's the prayer of the Gospel..simple is best!..simple is best!..simple is best!..pray the Rosary! Alot of the super sophisticated super educated people (I had Priests telling me this to my face) think that the Rosary is an old lady's prayer..Father them 'ol ladies' been in Heaven long before you were born! Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, a prayer for our times. Old Devotions like The Stations of the Cross..they're not outdated, they're great. Personal prayer will open your soul to grace, if you pray you will receive more grace, if you don't pray you won't receive as much, you won't grow as much in the spiritual life."
