IT HAPPENED! The Cybertruck 2022 IS FINALLY Here!

Pickup trucks are a popular vehicle category, and a few automakers are working
feverishly to release battery-powered versions. One of them is Tesla, which happens to
be the biggest EV maker on the planet. However, the Cybertruck has seen delays since
the company announced it to much fanfare in 2019! The wait is over, though, as Tesla
has showcased the 2022 version of the Cybertruck! What has changed, and what has

While Rivian and GM might have bested Tesla to the market with their trucks, the R1T
and GMC Hummer EV, respectively, Tesla's Cybertruck wipes the floor with pre-orders!
It has reportedly accrued more than one million pre-orders, and the number is still
growing!
It is easy to see why people are queuing up to purchase a Cybertruck! The truck has a
unique shape that makes it look like an alien would alight from the cabin at any moment.
If you think the appearance is ugly, Elon Musk, the CEO, deliberately went for the one-
in-town look so that the Cybertruck will stand out from all other trucks looking the same.
You either like it or not, but apparently, enough buyers have fallen in love with it to
justify Musk's choice! The Cybertruck uses a steel structural body that allows it to bear
impacts better than other body-on-frame designs used by other materials. A Tesla
executive even took a hammer to the Cybertruck body but failed to produce a dent,
unlike the door of a regular truck that had a visible mark after taking a blow from the
harmer. The armor glass of the Cybertruck didn't fare as well because it cracked under
the attack of a hammer during the presentation! That must have been embarrassing, but
the glass held during demos before climbing the stage!
The Cybertruck appeals with more than looks, however. It is a seriously powerful truck
that won a tug of war with a Ford F-150, even dragging it uphill! It is decked out with a
single, double, or triple electric motor with varying amounts of horsepower. However, as
you will see in this video, Tesla is readying an even more powerful electric motor
configuration! Acceleration is quick for a truck of this size, going from 0 t0 60 miles per
hour in under 3 seconds. The most powerful variant can pull or two over 14,000 pounds,
making it a proper beast among trucks! Maximum payload is 3500 pounds, meaning
you can bring as much as you wish on your trips! The bed was made of steel, but we
will bring you an update on the new material Tesla is using for that part of the truck in a
moment!
Mind you, workers will love this truck for its many practicalities. Thanks to its bi-
directional charging ability, you can power your work tools from the battery, a
convenient feature when working on isolated sites without a power supply! There is also
an air compressor onboard for when you need to pump the tires. There is also an
adaptive air suspension that lets you adjust the ride height so that you can move over
obstacles easily
