Chiang Tsung-ching is a famous bottle-gourd sculptor. Hes so fond of the plant that he grows all kinds of bottle gourds and uses them as his material.
Bottle gourds take on any number of shapes, which are only too familiar to Chiang Tsung-ching. After he adds a few brilliant touches to their natural shapes, the bottle gourds become an artwork seemingly created by Nature herself.
Having spent more than 20 years in this field, Master Chiang Tsung-ching even spent money on compiling a couple of guidebooks on how to carve bottle gourds. He was eager to share all his expertise with whoever is interested in learning the art. He has the passion and ingenuity to make bottle-gourd carving an art and pass it on.
