Minipterional Endoscopically Assisted Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysm Clipping
This video forms part of a series intended to support the King's College Hospital Neurovascular Fellowship Program. Clip repair of an unruptured but growing middle cerebral artery aneurysm in a patient with possible associated vascular fragility. This was accomplished through a less invasive mini-pterional craniotomy utilising the QEVO microvisualisation tool/endoscope. Treated cellulose os placed on a thin aneurysmal area of the neck to strengthen it and facilitate inclusion in the clip blades. Conventional and augmented reality ICG videoangiography confirm patency of all vessels.
