Benefits of Virtualization When Deploying Carrier Grade NAT

IPv4-only content will be around for years to come, so broadband operators must still provide access to a public IPv4 address for every single subscriber so they are able to reach that content.  Carrier Grade NAT (CGNAT) allows an operator to share a single IPv4 address with well over a hundred subscribers. However, proprietary CGNAT hardware can be expensive, both to deploy, and to scale as the number of subscribers grows. In this video, Rick Yuzzi from ZCorum and Alexander Britkin from NFWare discuss the benefits of a virtual software CGNAT solution. #CGNAT #virtualsoftware #ipv4
