Every Kid in the Park
Starting September 1, 2015, every fourth grader in the United States will have one year of free access to all public lands and waters that require an entrance fee and standard amenity fees. The pass is valid for the 2015-2016 school year, from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2016. The initiative will help engage and create our next generation of public land visitors, supporters and advocates as children learn history, culture and science while exploring the great outdoors. In BLM-Utah, fourth graders and any accompanying passengers in a private non-commercial vehicle, or fourth graders and up to three accompanying adults, will have free access to Cleveland Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry, Red Cliffs Recreation Area, Baker Dam Recreation Area and Calf Creek Day-use Area.
