SNOW on CRETE 2019 - magical winter wonderland in Greece

This is what Winter on Crete looks like!

What's the first thing you think about when you hear Greece?
Summer, right?
I completely agree BUT... did you ever expect the biggest Greek island and summer destination, Crete, to be a Magical Winter Wonderland?
This really was one of the most fun days in my whole life. The mountains were so quiet because all the tourists left and the locals were sitting inside, nice and warm. While we drove higher and higher in the mountains, more and more snow kept coming. It was a road trip to see all the spots we'd go to in summer under a white cozy blanket.
Ofcourse we stepped out of the car a lot to have snowball fights and make a snowman!

!WARNING!
If a car drives by while you're standing next to the road, don't just stay there. Step away from the road as far as you can. Or your pants will get soaked. I had to learn the hard way. (Still had a great time!)

This video will show you just a piece of the snowy island. Because words cannot explain the beauty.
It's a perfect and unknown winter destination in Europe.
