🐝✨ Spring Bee-Themed Fake Cake Decor DIY | Dollar Tree Inspired Home Decor ✨🐝

Hey fake bake besties! 💛
In today’s tutorial, I’m showing you how I created this adorable spring bee-themed fake cake decor piece! This one was such a fun project and perfect for spring, summer, tiered tray styling, shelf decor, or just adding a little sweet bee-inspired charm to your home.

I created this design using foam rounds, black air dry clay, lots of spackle, and bright spring colors to bring this bumble bee-inspired fake cake to life. The honey drip was made using glossy Mod Podge mixed with yellow and a little red food coloring (even though it definitely came out redder than planned 😅 but hey… sometimes it be like that!).

I also used mini Jenga blocks between the foam layers to help keep the cake structure even while drying, plus fake bees, flowers, and molded honeycomb details on top to really bring the whole look together.

For the top details, I used:
• Honey-colored hot glue sticks
• Small silicone molds for the “honey candy” pieces
• A honeycomb-style mold for the top center texture
• Small flowers (mine actually came from an old costume headband 😅)
