Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter is a first-person shooter game released in November 2009.
It is a remake of original Serious Sam: The First Encounter from 2001.
The game follows the soldier Sam "Serious" Stone, who is sent back in time to ancient Egypt in 1378 BCE.
His mission is to uncover information about the technologically advanced civilisation of the Sirians that could help humanity survive the attacks of extraterrestrial forces in the 22nd century.
This is the ninth level of the game.
Sam finally gets to the city of Memphis.
First he needs to fight his way to the city gate through the Harpies and Skeletons.
Then he goes through the living are with narrow corridors and many hidden enemies.
Especially scorpions make it very unpleasant there.
The third are is one big corridor full of enemies.
Sam finds a secret with a Cannon in it.
Once Sam cross the spike trap with the help of bulls he needs to face many Warbulls.
And then the giant wave of Skeletons come.
But thanks to the Cannon Sam makes it through them.
In the final area there are massive waves of Beheaded Bomber, Harpies, Warbulls and Skeletons.
Once our hero eliminates them all the palace gate opens and Sam get another amulet.
