Ceasefire must hold, people want peace: Omar Abdullah

J&K CM Omar Abdullah visited Kupwara on May 13, 2025, and assessed the situation in areas affected by cross-border shelling from Pakistan.

He interacted with locals and took stock of the damage to private property.

Border districts in Jammu and Kashmir witnessed heavy cross-border artillery shelling as tensions between India and Pakistan soared.

Kupwara, Baramulla, Rajouri, Poonch, Akhnoor, and Pargwal were affected by the escalation.
