California Unemployment Update | CA EDD Requesting Income Verification On PUA Claims

In this California PUA unemployment update, i’ll cover the CA EDD message that people with PUA claims in California received asking them to upload 2019 income verification documents.
I’ll cover did everyone with a PUA unemployment benefit claim get the message to request income verification, what are the acceptable income verification documents, can you use a 1099 to prove your income and how to repay the CA EDD if you were overpaid. The least amount you can get on a PUA unemployment claim is $167 so if you are not able to verify your income, that is the least you would receive. If you were paid more than $167 a week and reported your gross earnings instead of net earnings, you may owe the EDD money.
