The spice market was built in the 17th century. In ancient times, spice varieties from the middle east and far east were sold.
Its original name is Egypt bazaar (Turkish Mısır Çarşısı)
Since the spices brought in ancient times were carried over Egypt, this place was called Egypt bazaar.
Today, tourists show great interest in the spice market where spices and traditional products are sold.
