The claim: the New AutoMotive says the United Kingdom has effectively “hit” the ZEV mandate when you include flexibilities.

My problem is simple: I’ve asked for the full calculations and breakdowns — especially how flexibilities are applied and what’s being counted — and I’m still not seeing transparent workings.

So in this video I’ll:

break down what “targets met” actually means when flexibilities/credits are involved

explain why “headline targets” vs “real targets” can be miles apart

ask the question everyone in the motor trade is asking: if the numbers are solid, why not publish the full method and assumptions?
