HELP How To Remove Stubborn Adhesive From Paint - Detailing Struggles Patience Is Key

How to Remove Glue, Tar or Adhesive from any vehicle may be challenging. Especially if you do not know what the substance is. In detailing it’s a forever growing experience! In this case I do not know the substance or where it came from. It is not bird droppings. This sticky adhesive is also starting to etch itself in the paint as well. Here I will show you the challenges us as detailers face from time to time and how it’s always a learning experience and journey. Here I will show you what chemicals and methods were used to remove adhesive, glue or tar from the paint. As well as how each method lead to the next. The results speak for themselves

Time and patience is key when you run into situations like these. Please not I am not a Wet sanding guru. I don’t claim to be from time to time I occasionally do wetsanding but not in a regular basis.

Charge accordingly and make the best informative decision for your customers at hand. I had to call the customer mid way into the detail to charge accordingly for this situation.
