Benjamin, an openly gay 17 year-old, becomes infatuated with newcomer Tim, handsome, popular, and apparently straight. After a not-so-accident brings them together, they start a secret relationship. It is a story of true love, social pressure, heartache and finding love again that spans 12 years.

Beach Rats
A broody, aimless, closeted 19 year old living on the outer edges of Brooklyn struggles with his sexuality and self-identity. By day he scores chemicals, engages in a cautious relationship with a young woman, and looks after his dying father. When the sun sets, he flirts and cams with older men online and arranging hook-ups with guys at a nearby cruising beach.

The arrival of Romanian migrant worker, Gheorghe, ignites an intense relationship that sets him on a new path.

Freak Show
The moving, heartwarming, and hilarious story of gender queer teenager, Billy Bloom. When his mother sends him away to live with his father, Billy is ripped from his glamorous life in the city and dumped in an unforgiving small town society. After a severe bullying incident leaves him hospitalised, Billy decides he will not cower in the shadows any longer, and makes it his mission to fight back by running for the title of homecoming queen at his ultra conservative high school.

Tom of Finland
Touko Laaksonen, a decorated officer, returns home after a harrowing and heroic experience serving his country in World War II. He finds peace-time Helsinki rampant with persecution of the homosexual men around him. Touko finds refuge in his liberating art, specializing in homoerotic drawings of muscular men, free of inhibitions. His work became the emblem of a generation of men and fanned the flames of the gay revolution.

Seat in Shadow
Albert, an eccentric, aging painter doubles as an unconventional, Jung-inspired psychotherapist. When Albert's friend asks him to counsel her lethargic grandson Ben, whose ongoing boyfriend problems are rapidly fuelling an already deep depression, their subsequent therapy sessions reveal as much about Albert as they do about the troubled young man.

Elias, a young assistant at a busy garment factory in Sao Paulo, has been dreaming of care-free summer parties and hot hook-ups. When a handsome African immigrant, Fernando, joins their team, Elias takes steps to get to know the newcomer better.

Gay Londoners Marc and Fred went to war when they were refused a double bed at a remote guest house. They won their case in court and now they're back going back to the B&B to claim their conjugal rights. After a small party-turned-rager trashed his home, Miku is doomed to spend the rest of the summer at their family cottage in the Finnish countryside. But events take a turn for something strange when Miku meets Elias. The boys have absolutely nothing in common except for their age and dysfunctional families. While something is definitely pulling them together, Elias is worried that Miku’s repressed sexuality is preventing any meaningful romance between them.
