Dan & Lisa Farmhouse Jam #3

http://photofonz.com - Once in a while you gotta say “What the heck” and take a day off. I decided to do just that as I have been working on a long project and could use a day of R&R.

Dan & Lisa once again held their annual Farmhouse Jam in Clayton, NC over the Labor Day weekend. It was great seeing some old friends and making new ones.

Some of the outstanding musicians included Tommy Thunderfoot, E B Tharrington & 42 East, Neil and many other greats who I did not get their names.

Musicians and fans came all the way from Austria, Dallas TX, Dunn, Garner and Apex, NC.

Montez of FX Engineering, maker of one of the finest pedals in the world, provided use of his pedals for the guitarists. Special thanks again to Lisa & Dan for their hospitality and hosting the jam.

For you photo enthusiasts: Traveling light, I decided to record video using the Kodak Playtouch. An Azden mic was used for recording sound on the Kodak Playtouch. A zoom H2N audio recorder was also used to record audio for the jam tracks and added to the video during editing.

The amazing Fujifilm X-M1 was used for several still photos. The Dynamic Tone filter was also used on several images. The video was edited using Sony Movie Studio 12. If you ever wondered what it's like to attend a jam in NC, USA. Here's your FREE ticket.
