Volkswagen Passat B8 rear air-con slider repair

This beautiful Passat B8(maroon red) is owned by Kanz, a young man whom is very passionate about life, friends and cars. And you would've guess right, he's married and have 1 kid hence the Passat, best all rounder for business, family and performance.

Like most of us in group with children, sometimes accident couldn't be avoided. These rear air con vent clips might fall off if we are unlucky. Good news is this problem can be fix easily.

What's our solution?
1. Order rear air con vent from VW China, cheap, it cost around RM 120-150
2. Modify the parts due to incorrect parts number, my mechanic used about an hour to make sure the parts fit perfectly
3. Remove rear air con housing and install the parts
4. Put back everything
5. Done

Tried asking Volkswagen Service Center for help, but their told me that this are not covered under warranty. So they would have to charge me RM 6++ to replace the whole air-con housing. Hmm, would you pay RM 6++ for a rear air con clip ? The choice is up to you.
