Teachers needs to ‘read the room’ amid pay rise push: Kenny

The teachers’ union needs to “read the room” after starting a campaign for a pay rise, according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“How about the teachers union come out tomorrow and say we should have all kids back at school next week for a full term four,” Mr Kenny said.

“How about the union demands we get kids back at school immediately.

“Then we might take talk of a pay rise a little more seriously.”
