My Covid 19 Chicken Tractor Experience. This is a copy with changes and adaptation, of The Lewis Family Farm Ultimate PVC Chicken Tractor https://youtu.be/bxNfbjwO6YI. Since this video was released we have made many changes to the tractor. I hope to release a new video about these, but here is the update. All 14 hens are still living (1/18/2021)and give us an average of 10 eggs a day which have never been laid anywhere but in the buckets. Added- 1. Chicken Guard coop door 2. Run extension to double the run space. 3. Roosts in the run 4. built a small egg box "parlour" that slides onto the rear of the coop with 4 nesting buckets and exterior doors) 5. Removed all but two bucket nests from coop to increase roosting space. 6 installed water heater in hanging bucket and heat tape funnel system to fill it. 7. Cut reflectix insulation sheets to reduce venting for winter and keep the coop warmer. 8. Installed interior and exterior "twinkle" lighting on a smart timer. 9. Use Premier Poultry netting occasionally to allow ranging out of run on nice days when I or family care to sit out with the hens(to protect from birds of prey). 10. installed heated watering inside coop so there is always water even when chicken guard is closed
