🎶 Guitar Virtuosi Moscow International Festival was born in 2006. Under the Artistic Directorship of Artyom Dervoed, for over 15 years now, the Festival has been one of the most prestigious classical guitar events in the world. More than 75,000 guests have visited the Festival since its inception and more than 5,500 people attend the Festival events at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Concert Hall annually, apart from the Moscow Philharmonic online streaming available globally.

Presented by the Moscow Philharmonic Society, the Festival consists of four concerts that provide a comprehensive overview of the classical guitar repertoire: solo and duo recitals, chamber music, and orchestral programs.

Since 2015, the Festival has been partnering with the renowned Evgeny Svetlanov State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia. All the Festival concerts take place at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow.

Since 2015, the Yury Bashmet's Center for Performing Arts in Moscow has been hosting the Festival's educational program: the featured soloists give lectures and master classes for those who study and teach in Moscow and in Russia.

Since 2006, Guitar Virtuosi International Festival has showcased the world's most renowned guitarists from over 20 countries, including Spain, Italy, Germany, France, USA, Croatia, Czechia, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Austria, Israel, Poland, Holland, Montenegro, Brazil, Hungary, Greece, Cuba. Among the guest stars of the Festival are Sérgio and Odair Assad, Pepe Romero, Aniello Desiderio, Zoran Dukić, Pavel Steidl, Ricardo Gallén, Constas Cotsiolis, Marcin Dylla, Pablo Viegas and many others.
