Triple Clove Hitch, Biner Blocked Single Rope Rappel

In this video I demonstrate the tying and use of the triple clove hitch to create a biner block for a single rope rappel. The advantage of the triple clove hitch versus the traditional clove hitch for a biner block is that the triple clove should not 'walk' or 'move' around the biner which could cause a traditional clove hitch to come undone.
The triple clove hitch takes a little longer to tie and it MUST be dressed well...meaning make sure it is tight, tight, tight. I've included some links for more discussions and info in the use of the triple clove hitch. Stay safe out there! Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe!
