What is the daily life of a non-rate Seaman or Fireman underway on a Coast Guard cutter like? In this video, I interview my friend IT3 Calhoun where she explains the day to day operations of a nonrated member on board a WEMC (medium endurance cutter).
She spent about 9 months on the Harriet Lane, a WEMC out of Portsmouth Virginia.
